Main Street is home to the Everett Theatre, and the Middletown Historic District is in town. The Olde Tyme Peach Festival is held on Main Street each August, the M.O.T. Big Ball Marathon takes place on Labor Day, and the town holds an annual Hummers parade. St. Andrew's School, a boarding school, is also in Middletown.
